After their father’s death Guy and Rich Snyder ran In-N-Out Burger. Rich, the younger son, was the corporate type and Guy was the wild one.

On December 15, 1993, Rich Snyder died while returning to his Newport Beach home from the opening of In-N-Out store 93 in Fresno, California. Snyder’s chartered Westwind business jet was caught in the wake turbulence of a Boeing 757, causing the smaller aircraft to crash in Santa Ana, California, and all five people aboard died instantly.

On Valentine’s Day, 1981, Guy Snyder married Lynda Lou Perkins. The marriage produced one daughter, Lynsi, who was born in 1982. Lynsi Snyder is known for her association with car culture, particularly the hot rod community, which aligns with her family’s long-standing love for cars.

On December 3, 1999 Guy Snyder died of congestive heart failure as a result of an accidental overdose of prescription painkillers. Snyder had a long history of drug abuse. At the time of his death, he had been living in a motorhome parked outside the Lancaster, California, home of his first wife’s nephew.

In 2015 his 1989 Porsche Speedster was offered for private sale by Lynsi Snyder.
